T.E.A. Talks packs Operation Christmas Child boxes during lunch in room 601, Nov. 2. The group, led by seniors Sophia Kalugin, Kamryn Schultz, Julia Fikse, and Kaylie Clem, meets on the first Friday of every month.
This month, instead of doing their traditional Bible study, the club decided to take part in the school-wide drive to collect gift boxes for Samaritan’s Purse. Members from the group brought supplies to fill the boxes, assembling the gifts together at lunch. The group packed a total of 29 boxes.
With one table set up as a packing station, another station included note writing. Members of the group wrote personalized letters to the recipients of each box.
Fresno Christian participates in the collection of Operation Christmas Child boxes every year. This year’s goal is to donate over 501 gift boxes, which was last year’s all-school grand total. You can be a part of reaching that goal by packing a box, and dropping it off in room 608, Robert Foshee’s room, before the deadline, Nov. 7.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the packing of O.C.C. boxes!
