Spanish I, II, and III teacher, Rachel Rodriguez, encourages her classes to get into the holiday spirit with an all-class Secret Santa gift exchange, Dec. 11.
Students draw classmates names out of a hat to determine their Secret Santa two week prior to the exchange. The gifts were presented with a dance move, as requested by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez has continued the tradition of Secret Santa since her first year teaching at Fresno Christian four years ago.
“This will be the fourth year I continue this tradition,” Rodriguez said.”I love Secret Santa because students are given the opportunity to be generous and to think about someone else. My favorite part of the game is the suspense of finding out who your Secret Santa is. I continue this tradition because I like to see the class become a family.”
