To end the fall semester in the holiday spirit of giving, FC is holding a Stuffed Animal Drive to support Valley Children’s Hospital, Dec. 14.
Every year, FCS fundraises with the ‘Stuffed Animal Drive’ for children in hospitals during Christmas time.
Students who bring in a stuffed animal will receive a free lunch of Chick-Fil-A chicken nuggets while the movie Elf plays in the SMC. You can also donate $5 instead of an animal for a chicken nugget meal.
To go along with the theme of movie day and stuffed animals, Friday is also pajama day, so where your best pajamas to school.
Classes are cut short to 15 minutes due to it being half day and movie day.
High school leadership students will bring all monetary donations and collected stuff animals to give to the children at the hospital.
This year’s goal is too receive 206 stuffed animals, which is the total number of FC high school students. This will exceed last year’s goal of three trash bags full.
