Junior Ty Coffman dribbles the ball up the court to score at FC boys varsity basketball’s first home league game, Jan. 10. Both boys and girls varsity basketball teams played their first home game of the official season against Summit Charter Collegiate Academy.
However, due to fog hazards in the Fresno County area, Summit Charter Collegiate Academy forfeited the game at half-time with the Eagles leading, 55-30. The boys now hold a record of 2-0 in the official season. The girls varsity team finished their game with a victory, winning their second league game in a row, 37-15.
Boys basketball will play next against Madera South High School in the Fresno Christian gym at 6 p.m., Jan. 12. The Lady Eagles will be playing Kings Christian High School at home at 5:45 p.m., Jan. 15. Come out and support your FC Eagles!
