As the class of 2019 looks forward to graduation, The Feather spotlights seniors in an effort to know them better. This series will focus on their time at Fresno Christian and their aspirations moving forward. This is the 2019 senior spotlight of Amanda Grimmius.
How many years have you attended FCS?
I have attended FC for thirteen years. I am a lifer.
Where/how many colleges have you applied to for next year? Which is your top pick?
I have applied to two colleges and my top pick is Grand Canyon University.
What do you plan on majoring in?
I plan to major in nursing.
Are you planning on going out of state or staying in CA?
I am going out of state, probably to Arizona to attend GCU, which is my top choice right now.
A favorite memory of high school?
My favorite memory of high school would be either Senior Retreat or Senior Night at football.
What activities have you been involved in over the past 4 years?
I have been involved in CSF, varsity cheer, worship team in church and school, Ensemble and a job here at school.
If you could give the lower classmen advice for surviving high school, what would it be?
My advice would be to get involved in everything you can, be friendly to everyone, drama is not worth it.
Post graduation, what do you look forward to in your future? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself furthering my education, and meeting new people in college.
Some fun facts about Grimmius are that she can do dolphin impressions and that she wants to travel to Amsterdam in the Netherlands to see where her family came from.
