Spring sports, including boys tennis, track, golf, baseball and softball, begin after school practice, Feb. 4. Players condition and run through drills in preparation for their upcoming season.
Boys tennis is lead by head coach Robert Foshee and assistant coach Daniel “Bulldog” Jessing. This duo has been coaching boys tennis together for several years.
This is the eighth year FC high school baseball has been coached by Noah Heinz, assisted this year by Max Wyatt and Roman Endicott.
Fun fact, alumnus Roman Endicott, ’18, returns to FC to accompany Matthew Weimer in coaching JH baseball.
Mick Fuller teaches strength and conditioning class during the school day, and coaches HS track after school.
Varsity golf 2018 D2 West Sequoia League Campions begin practice within the next week, so stay tuned. The co-ed team is coached by Brent Deffenbacher.
Lady Eagles are lead by softball coach David Davila and assisted by Steve Villines.
Practice times are as follows:
Boys tennis: Monday-Friday, from approximately 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Baseball: Monday-Thursday, from approximately 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Track: Monday, Wednesday Friday, at FC, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., then travel to Clovis West track, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, at FC, from 3:20 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Golf: Monday-Thursday, from approximately 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Softball: Monday-Friday, from approximately 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
