As the class of 2019 looks forward to graduation, The Feather spotlights seniors in an effort to know them better. This series will focus on their time at Fresno Christian and their aspirations moving forward. This is the 2019 senior spotlight of Alina Davila.
How many years have you attended FCS?
I came to FC three years ago, my sophomore year.
Where/how many colleges have you applied to for next year? Which is your top pick?
I have applied to three colleges in total, with Fresno State as my top pick.
What do you plan on majoring in?
I haven’t decided for sure, but am thinking about majoring in nursing.
Are you planning on going out of state or staying in CA?
I plan on attending college in CA.
What activities have you been involved in over the past 4 years?
Over the last few years I have been involved in tennis, basketball, softball, cheer, leadership, choir, ensemble, worship team and Sister to Sister.
Who has been an influential teacher in your eyes and how?
Robert Foshee, in the classroom and on the courts. He always encourages me and pushes me to be the best I can be athletically and spiritually.
If you could give the lower classmen advice for surviving high school, what would it be?
Do your homework and actually try!
A fun fact about Davila is that she loves all things Disney. Her favorite Disney character is Stitch from ‘Lilo and Stitch’.
