Due to no seniors on the girls soccer team, athletes and grandparents were honored on the field for a pregame ceremony, Feb. 8.

Girls soccer defeats Laton, 12-0, at their home game. The team is currently undefeated in league with a record of 8-0. The teams overall pre season as well as league record is 16-5.

Captain Rylee Schwab, ‘21, currently holds a record of 51 goals this season. Schwab is ranked number one in the state with 147 points according to MaxPreps, scoring over half the eagles goals.

For more information about Rylee Schwab, check out Rylee Schwab 1st on CIF Central Section goals leaderboard.

Teams goal keeper, Kayden Marquez, scores three goals during her first full game out of the box of this season. Marquez has played keeper for six years, along with occasionally playing midfield.

“My favorite part of tonight was getting the opportunity to go out on the field again,” Marquez said. “I am the only keeper this season so I rarely get the chance to come out of the box. I loved getting the chance to play my old position again. It reminded me of the feeling I had when I was younger.”

Come out and support the girls soccer team in playoffs. Game dates and times will be announced at a later date.
