As the class of 2019 looks forward to graduation, The Feather spotlights seniors in an effort to know them better. This series will focus on their time at Fresno Christian and their aspirations moving forward. This is the 2019 senior spotlight of Bonnie Yang.
How many years have you attended FCS?
I have gone to FC for three years.
Where/how many colleges have you applied to for next year?/ Which is your top pick?
I applied to four different colleges but my top pick would be San Fancisco State University. Their film profession is very famous and very attractive to me. I want to be a film maker.
What do you plan on majoring in?
I plan to major in film, media. I like film very much since I was a child. I hope I can get professional guidance to make the movies that I want.
A favorite memory of high school?
A favorite memory of high school was working on Chinese New Year together at school. We all study together here (at Fresno Christian) and can’t go back to be together with our family. It is a great honor for us to present different cultures from our country to American students.
Who has been an influential “favorite” teacher in your eyes and how?
Mr. (Robert) Foshee, Mr. (Don) Rojeski and Mrs. (Kimberly) Bell are my favorite teachers. They are very friendly and teach us patiently when we need help.
What activities have you been involved in over the past 4 years?
In high school I was in choir for two years, in 10th grade and 12th grade. I have been learning to sing since I was a child and I like singing very much.
Post graduation, what do you look forward to in your future?
I look forward to become a filmaker or have my own coffee shop because for me it is a place where people can think quietly in a fast paced life.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Go to college. Operating a detertive game agency.
