This is the third episode of “FC Underground, 2019-’20,” covering the week of Sept. 3 – Sept. 9, 2019. Sophomore David Tuck, and senior Bekah Micu are one set of new hosts for the 2019-’20 school year. Each FC Underground is filmed to reflect upcoming events starting Tuesday’s through Monday of the following week.
FC Underground is a weekly vlog co-hosted by three pairs of hosts, and filmed and edited by senior videographer Ethan Hamm. This vlog, hosted by Tuck and Micu, shares weekly news from the campus of Fresno Christian High School.
This week, girls tennis and volleyball have home games as well as a CSF meeting. Announcements also include the Homecoming theme. More coming announcements for the month of September include Grandparents day. Homecoming will be on Friday, October 4. Keep eyes on this post and find out more! “FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring , ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Callista Fries took over after Brooke Stobbe in 2012-’13, and hosted through spring 2015.Kevin Garcha, Kylie Bell and Tim Nyberg took over on 2015-’16. Last year, Logan Lewis an Hannah Villines hosted the news series. Now, Ethan Hamm, Hannah Villines, Avery Jones, Richie Cortez, Edward Fikse, Bekah Micu, and David Tuck and continue the segments.
