Fresno Christian student leadership is proud to announce the coming of Formal 2021, ‘Films in the Forest.’ The event will take place, Nov. 13 and lasts from 4 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the Bridges estate, 2106. W Alluvial Ave, Fresno, CA.
Ticket will be sold for $75 starting, Oct. 11 and will raise to $80 on Nov. 3. See Aubri Foster in room 604 to purchase your tickets.
As apart of the formal tradition, students film, edit and produce short films based on real movies that will be shown the night of formal. Parents and staff will vote on movies and students will receive awards later night. This year the overall theme of formal is ‘Films in the Forest.’ Below are the list of movies each class will recreate.
NOTS movies:
Seniors: Herbie Fully Loaded
Juniors: The Hunger Games
Sophomore: Stranger Things
Freshman: Paul Blart Mall Cop
The night will include appetizers, an italian soda bar, music, games, dinner, movies, dancing, awards and dessert.
The menu consists of a vegetarian option: pasta with vegetables lightly tossed in a butter, garlic and rosemary sauce, chicken option: bone in chicken breast, or beef option: tri-tip. Both meat items come with rice pilaf and bacon wrapped asparagus.
Dessert is provided by Ampersand with four flavors available flavors.
