Big Fresno Fair returns for the 138th year

[/media-credit] The Big Fresno Fair brings the community together for a night of amusement, Oct. 6 – Oct. 17. The wave swinger is one of the many carnival rides you can visit.

The Big Fresno Fair returns after a year off due to COVID-19 to mark the 138th year. The fair is a 12-day extravaganza for family and friends to come together and enjoy their nights. This event is the fourth largest fair in the state covering 165 acres of land filled with food, rides, and more. The fair opened Oct. 6 and plans to close Oct. 17.

Beneath are the opening and closing times per day:

Tues – Thurs: 4:00pm-11:00pm

Fri and Sat: 10:00am – Midnight

Sun and Mon: 10:00am – 11:00pm

 

Below are the different prices for admissions, tickets, and wristbands:

Admission Prices:

Adults: $12

Children 6-12: $8

Children 5 and Under: Free

Seniors 62 and Better: $8

Military: $8

*with valid military ID

[/media-credit] The fair has a selection of food options which include jumbo corn dogs and french fries.

Ride Tickets:

$1.00 per ticket

25 tickets for $23

80 tickets for $70

Wristband:

Unlimited Ride Wristband: $30

 

Some attractions at the fair include Vertigo, Turbo Force, Starship 3000, Orbitor, and Alien Invasion. From corn dogs, funnel cakes, tacos, deep-fried Oreos, and more, the fair is full of a variety of treats to enjoy. 

The Big Fresno Fair ends Oct. 17 so make sure to swing by before it’s too late.
