Girls tennis honors Rachel Moate, Elise Bessey and Summer Foshee for senior night, Oct. 13. Teammates and parents support

their seniors with flowers, crowns, balloons and posters.

Moate is a first year tennis player and expresses her feeling towards being on the team.

“I wanted to try something new this year and I am so glad I chose it. The season is definitely time consuming, practice everyday and at least two matches per week,” Moate said. “It’s definitely hard managing my time well but worth it for sure. The best part of being on the team is the girls. The team has such a close bond that I know will continue on beyond the season. The best memory was running through the sprinklers on the baseball field and playing freeze tag with each other.”
