When I woke up this morning, I ran through a few of my usual probability calculations:
1. Probability that I ride my bike to school today, 98%.
2. Probability that AP Calculus AB students play Blokus during class, 73%.
3. Probability that I make a lame joke in 4th period (and that Gerald tells me it was lame): 86%.
4. Probability that I eat a salad for lunch: 2%.
5. Probability that I receive a ducky blanket for Baby Fenton: 0.0003728%.
Hmmm… I’ll need to revise some of those numbers for tomorrow.
Shocked reactions aside, I think the blanket is absolutely amazing! Thank you for your kindness, Mrs. Scharf and all of first period home ec. My wife (and baby) will love the blanket. While it’s sad to be known as the “duck guy,” I am honored by the thoughtfulness of your gift.
Thanks again!
