Congratulations to our graduates!
As school comes to a close, 51 seniors are celebrated during the 43rd annual graduation, May 23.
Many in the class received numerous awards and recognitions for their outstanding accomplishments. Fresno Christian sends off seven “lifers,” 25 with the highest honors, and half the class wearing CSF yellow sashes. The graduating class earned about $3.3 million in scholarships.
Speeches from valedictorian Mallory Loeffler, along with salutatorian Tryphena Gunawan, spoke about the perspiration, respiration, conspiration, aspiration and inspiration that their class journeyed through.
Guest speaker, Dr. André Stephens, challenged the senior class to use kindness, courage and character as they step into new beginnings.
Many different awards and scholarships were given out to students during the ceremony, including the Faculty and Staff Scholarship awarded to Paige Deffenbacher.
Paige Deffenbacher, ‘24, shared how it felt to receive the Faculty and Staff Scholarship award.
“I was shocked and so honored,” Deffenbacher said, “Honestly, I thought they made a mistake. It’s an absolute honor and privilege that my teachers, who I look up to and respect so much, feel even a fraction of the way I feel about them!”
The senior class will be attending a variety of colleges such as Point Loma Nazarene University, Biola University, Masters University, Grand Canyon University and more!
Congrats to the Class of 2024!
