It’s officially Homecoming week at Fresno Christian High School (Oct. 7-11) and this year’s theme is “Family Game Night.” Congratulations to the court candidates for this year’s 39th annual event. The Feather would like to introduce you to the nominees voted in by their peers. Kyleigh Baca, Lala Briggs, and Kennedy Schwab are this year’s Junior Princesses.
Kyleigh Baca
Baca has gone to FCS since first grade. Three words to describe her would be patient, brutally honest and kind. If Baca had a million dollars she would buy a large property and rescue shelter dogs. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:11, “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”
1- If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Either teleportation or the ability to get my license.
2- If you could have dinner with any person alive in the world today, who would it be? Why?
Harry Styles because he’s a good person and … it’s Harry Styles.
3- If you could have one wish granted to you, what would it be?
To magically get my license without taking the test.
Lala Briggs
Briggs has gone to FCS since kindergarten. If Briggs could choose, she would want to have 8 children, as well as one set of twins. If she could have one wish granted to her she would want to cure all diseases. Briggs’ favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
1- Would you rather sing or dance in front of people? Why?
Dance because I have more rhythm and can’t sing at all!
2- Three words that describe you?
Clumsy, loyal, and outgoing.
3- Hollywood crush?
Michael B. Jordan.
Kennedy Schwab
Schwab has gone to FCS since first grade. If Schwab could have any superpower it would be invisibility so that she could spy on people. Schwab’s personal hero is her parents. Schwab’s favorite bible verse is Psalm 37:7, “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes.”
1- Three words that describe you?
Honest, loyal, and anger issues (road rage).
2- If you could sing a duet with anyone, who would it be?
Zach Bryan.
3- If you had a million dollars what would you buy?
A big white farmhouse.
