Each year, the leadership torch is passed down to the up-and-coming generation, trusting the new team to carry on The Feather’s foundational beliefs and atmosphere. The Feather seeks to aid in the developing of young minds, educated opinions and a team mindset. The editing team is handpicked to ensure that standards are upheld and that the team prospers as a whole.
Journalism is always changing, and our platforms are changing with it. While journalists continue to share their knowledge and opinions through in-depth writing, the media team encourages student and community engagement through Instagram posts or stories and creative infographics to catch readers’ attention and share quick news.
Despite The Feather being a professional, highly adaptive environment, the teamwork and sense of community create a family of people who build each other up and strive to make a difference in the community.
