After winning their first playoff match against Kings Christian in five games, Nov. 10, the girls’ varsity volleyball team will face Mission Prep High School, Nov. 12. To facilitate fan support, a rooter bus will follow the team to San Luis Obispo. The cost is $5.
Over 100 FC students attended the Kings Christian match, wherein the Lady Eagles lost the first two games by close margins, but came back to win, taking the last three games in a row to advance to Mission Prep for the CIF Central Section Division V Valley Championship.
Campus students will have an opportunity to continue their fanatic support by attending the next match on the central coast. Permission slips will be passed out during second period on Nov. 12, and they must be signed by a parent and returned by 3 p.m. in order for the bus to leave on time. Students will return to Fresno around midnight.
Fans should bring $5 for the bus ride, in addition to $4 for admission to the game, a Fresno Christian ID and money for food.
