When students return to school after summer, they are presented with an opportunity to start fresh. Never mind last year’s grades, games and drama — they are in the past. What matters now is the classes students take, the relationships they forge and the activities they engage in.
Among the sports teams, musical groups and publications on campus, there are a number of organizations aiming to promote service and stewardship. Whether through the Planeteers Club or the California Scholarship Federation, more and more students are taking the initiative to volunteer in their communities.
