Among other groups, the choir performed at Fresno Pacific University’s Choral Festival, held at Clovis North Educational Center, on Oct. 14.
The 19-member group left at lunch for the event and returned at 3:30.
After choir students finished their prepared songs, adjudicator Geoffrey Boers, director of choral activities at the University of Washington in Seattle, came on stage to critique them.
In this video, filmed and produced by junior David Casuga, the choir performs “Praise His Holy Name,” one of their two songs for the attending groups. The choir also sang “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child.”
The choir will next perform the Dessert Auction Fundraising Concert in Ground Zero, Nov. 1. The admission-free event begins at 7 p.m.

I really enjoyed this activity. I thought it was a great way of getting us to group together as a student body. I’d like to do it again.
