The 2010 homecoming week festivities culminated in the annual king pageant, Oct. 22, where candidates performed a choreographed dance and presented pick-up lines. The event was held in Ground Zero during chapel period.
The five king nominees — Zach Camden, Alex Campama, Andrew Evans, Josiah Ford and Danny Ibarra — opened the pageant with their group performance, then took turns for individual dances.
Audience members received ballots from student leadership members during the presentation of the king bash video. The votes were then tallied to determine who would be named homecoming king.
After the nominees performed an encore of their dance, 2009 homecoming king Landon Martens ascended to the stage to crown Evans as king.
This video, produced by sophomores Jordan Boudreau and Juan Ruelas, provides a visual summary of the king pageant and features the entire king dance.
