Dear editor:
I had the pleasure of coaching Paige [Armstrong-Maltos, ’10] in last year’s City-County All Star game. Although I only spent a few short weeks with her, Paige touched my life with her vivacious outlook on life. Every day at practice she would come in with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She could warm the gym with her presence every day she was there. I felt like I had coached her for years.
It broke my heart to hear of the accident and to know that she has left this world for the final time. But in 18 short years, she positively impacted more lives than a lot of people could impact in 90 years of living.
On behalf of myself and the Clovis West Girls Basketball Family, we pray that Paige’s family and loved ones are showered with the Lord’s blessings during this tragic and difficult time.
