Dear editor:
I have been encouraging students to visit The Feather website to plant comments on the various features, shorts, and pics that continue to flow from the computers of the Feather offices. I’ve spent time to put in a comment or two myself.
I know that it is an encouragement to the writers and photographers who spend a great deal of time and talent each and every day. I know, too, that each comment helps to amplify The Feather’s place in competition for awards.
I didn’t realize, though, just how much material has been posted this year until I wandered around through each header today.
I’m astounded at the profound volume of excellent, creative interaction the staff of The Feather has extended to our school, our families, our followers and our community. I really had no idea.
It makes me even more proud of each student I’ve come to know through classes and hallway happenings. Your commitment to the discipline of writing has made me richer. Thank you.
