The 34th episode of “FC Underground,” covers the week of Nov. 21-25, 2011. “FC Underground” is a weekly segment hosted by Brooke Stobbe, ’12, Kristen Rosenthal, ’13, and produced by Austin Rurik, ’12.
Stobbe and Rosenthal discuss the short school week due to the Thanksgiving holiday which begins Wednesday, Nov. 23. First though they remind seniors that Jostens will be on campus next week to collect order forms for graduation like rings, caps and gowns.
This week though there is Sister2Sister training in Rm 628 and Brother to Brother teams head off campus for lunch on Nov. 21. Softball winter conditioning is now every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and all sports fees are due in the Athletic Office.
Finally there is an on-campus service day scheduled, Nov. 22. Students will attend periods 1 and 2 then go to chapel. Then they will break up into smaller groups for service projects throughout the Peoples Church campus until 2 p.m. when students will attend 8th period. Robert Foshee is in charge of the event and Rosenthal and Stobbe interview him for more information.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.
“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Stobbe and Casuga took up the job until this year.
