15TH ANUAL ALUMNI GAME–Nov. 26
The Eagles played against the FC alumni for their first scrimmage of the season, Nov. 26.
Four year player, Zed Fries, ’12, says playing with the alumni helps him prepare for the season and as always, is an enjoyable game.
“The alumni game allows us to understand the team balance before we compete with real teams,” Fries said. “We see our strengths and weaknesses through our playtime with the alumni. Although as a Senior it definitely makes me feel old knowing the graduate, but playing with them reminds me of how short high school is.”
Head coach Matt Markarian says it not only builds community with the past players from FC, but also gives the current team a look at what their upcoming games will be like.
?It?s just a good chance to get out here with the current team and practice in an environment that?s kind of like a game environment, but doesn?t count,? Markarian said. ?It also creates community with the alumni and they look forward to this game that we play the same weekend every year.”
The Eagles will next travel to play Sierra, Nov. 29.

It seemed that God surprised us by showing up in chapel and connecting with us individually in our gathering. His Spirit took what was given by Becca and Rachel and impacted us in an authentic display of heart and hope.

Such a powerful time of worship!

Thank you Rachel and Becca for taking time to lead us in worship. I know there were students who made decisions to follow God more deeply in their lives and they will remember when they made that “cross road” decision.
