Dear Editor,
I thought the trip to Bakersfield with Acadec on Nov. 6 to learn about the music of the Romantic Era was an inspiring and fun-filled trip. The bus ride over and back gave us tons of time to hang with friends and have fun.
Once we got there, we listened to a concert containing 14 songs or snippets of songs from the Romantic Era. Some of the composers were: Beethoven, Wagner, Brahms, and Dvorak. Most of the music was interesting and I had heard many of the songs before in movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Fantasia.
I was glad I went and had a memorable time.
