Fresno City College will be administering placement testing for seniors in math and English, March 12. The testing period begins at 8 a.m. and will take place in the Jackie Johnson Room.
The test is free, but students must sign up in the high school office so that officials know how many tests should be provided. To take to test, seniors must be enrolled at a local community college for the upcoming school year.
The assessments are used to gauge students’ skills that are needed for a community college, and to properly place the individual in certain levels of studies.
The test is also recognized by other State Center Community College District campuses such as Willow, Madera, Reedley and Oakhurst.
Students are advised to arrive early for the test and to bring a #2 pencil, a photo ID and to know their SCCCD ID number.
