The tenth episode of “FC Underground, 2012-13” covers the week of Oct. 15-19, 2012. This is sophomore Callista Fries’ first year hosting the show alone. FC Underground is a weekly segment hosted by Fries and is produced by senior Juan Ruelas.
There is a Brother to Brother, older brother training on Mon., Oct. 15 at lunch. The HS girls basketball team is also meeting at lunch in the athletic office, Oct. 15.
The HS leadership class is starting a new program called make a difference, they will award one student per week a glow in the dark bracelet. The bracelet will be awarded to someone who made a difference the week before.
The PSAT Test will be this Wed., Oct. 17. Students taking this test must be in the PC gym before 8 a.m.
There is a Half day this Wed. Oct. 17.
If students are still interested in going on the Beach Trip, tickets are still on sale for $50 in front of the office.
Grandparents Day will be this Fri. Oct. 19. Grandparents will attend third and forth period classes. After the grandparents leave, at least half of the student body
Congratulations to Jordana Siebert, history department head, who got engaged this weekend on Sat. Oct. 12 to Jared Kaiser. Also Dan Harris, science and Chinese teacher, had his baby, Nathaniel Kai Harris on Oct. 10.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.
“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Now, Fries and Ruelas have continued the segments.
