This is the 23rd episode of “FC Underground, 2012-13” covering the week of Jan 7-11, 2013. Sophomore Callista Fries is a first year host and broadcasts the video news alone. FC Underground is a weekly segment hosted by Fries, filmed by Senior Nathan Bender, and produced by senior videographer Juan Ruelas.
All JH students who are interested in joining CJSF please pick up your application now in room 228, applications must be turned in by Fri. Jan. 18.
HS girls softball practice beings Mon. Jan. 7 at 3:30 p.m.
This Tues. Jan. 8, there will be a HS boys basketball game at home in the FC gym, starting at 7 p.m.
Tues. Jan. 8, there is a HS boys soccer game at home starting at 3:30 p.m.
There will be CSF tutoring this Wed. Jan. 9 from 3-4 p.m.
The HS girls soccer team have a game this Wed. Jan. 9 at home starting at 3:30.
Thur. Jan. 10 there is a girls and boys HS basketball game at Sierra, the girls game begins at 5:30 and boys at 7 p.m.
There is a HS boys home soccer game this Thur. Jan. 10 starting at 3:30 p.m.
Girls soccer plays this Fri. Jan. 11 at home starting at 3:30 p.m.
There is a Spanish Club meeting this Fri. Jan. 11 in room 628 at lunch.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.
“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Now, Fries and Ruelas have continued the segments.
