After being closed for Christmas, the FCS Spirit Wear website is back online as of Friday, Feb. 15. The website, originally launched Nov. 13, 2012, offers a wide variety of clothing with the school logo and colors for both students and parents.
The website offers t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, button-down shirts, polo shirts, jackets, hats and other accessories in various price ranges.
The website was started by FC parents Hannah Serimian and Dawn Hinton, who worked with Kristina Price from Priceless Creations to design the website. Priceless Creations, a custom screen printing and web design company, is responsible for printing FC spirit wear.
FC secretary Brenda Warkentin emphasized the benefits of an online spirit wear store.
“It gives students and parents the ability to buy spirit wear from home,” Warkentin said. “This should encourage people to show their school spirit in a way that is convenient. Ordering online saves a lot of time; this is a great opportunity for students.”
Freshman Josh Carter has not visited the website, but he expresses his enthusiasm at the reopening of the online store.
“I have not been on the website,” Carter said. “Still, it’s a great way for the FCS family and students to support their school. I should look into buying some more spirit wear, since the online store makes it easier to buy.”
Junior Jon Agao did not know that the store would reopen but notes that a spirit wear website is a good fundraiser for the school.
“I hadn’t heard about the store reopening,” Agao said. “I think it is a good way for the school to raise money. It lets people show their school spirit, so I guess it is helpful for the school.”
