There are countless different recipes for quick and easy dinner ideas that will fill an empty stomach. Some are cheap while others are somewhat costly. Spaghetti is generally very easy to prepare while leaving you with a full stomach. However at some point over eaten food becomes bland, and boring. Add it into a garlic bread bowl and the whole meal transforms.
Ingredients
1 box of spaghetti noodles
1 jar marinara sauce
4 tbsp garlic butter
1 sourdough bread bowl
Mozzarella or parmesan cheese to taste
Directions
Step 1: Carve out the top of the bread bowl, and hollow out the inside. Set aside until later.
Step 2: Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil, and prepare to add uncooked spaghetti noodles.
Step 3: Put marinara sauce into a separate pot and set on medium-low heat.
Step 4: Once the noodles have been cooked, it will take about 8-10 minutes to cook, then drain the water from the noodles. Once drained set aside.
When straining the noodles, make sure that you do not spill any of the boiling water on yourself or let the steam go into your face, it will severely burn you.
Step 5: Take the bread bowl and spread garlic butter throughout the inside of the bread bowl. Then take the bread bowl and broil it until golden brown or crispy.
Be sure to keep an eye on the bread as it will get too hard very quickly, about 5-10 mins will do the job.
Step 6: Once you take the bread bowl out of the oven, add a layer of marinara sauce to the bottom of the bowl. Then fill the bowl with spaghetti noodles, and cover with marinara sauce.
Step 7: Finally add shredded mozzarella cheese onto the bowl.
