While Andrew Lloyd Weber’s The Phantom of the Opera has been a Broadway hit for over 20 years, the campus drama class’ spoof of the play, Man Behind the Mask, charmed audiences after the junior highers first performed it May 6.
While the modern time period of the high school play differed from the 80s style of the younger actors’ version, some familiar faces appeared on stage, May 10.
Along with senior Phantom Sean O’Neal, left, eighth grader, Brooke Stobbe, took on the role of Regina Brooks/Desiree Carstairs in both the first junior high performance and in the last performance of the high school production.
