Although freshman Austin Rurik is a first-year varsity player, his experience from playing on club teams contributes to the campus team.
While the maneuvers of soccer focus mainly on fancy footwork, during every game Rurik utilizes all legal ways of moving the ball, including a chest bump trick.
The Eagles started the game strong by keeping the ball on Caruther’s side of the field for the first 15 minutes, but later fell short and lost 2-1, Jan. 27.
