While the intense effort of the girls’ soccer team did not prevail against Riverdale, Feb. 5, the ladies fought a fierce battle throughout the game.
Sophomore captain Cassidy Hutchins, right, often uses her softball sliding-skills on the soccer field to defend against the opposing offense. When the Cowboys attempted to score a goal in the first half, Hutchins slid into the striker causing her to lose the ball to FC.
Despite the risk of injury, Hutchins was willing to risk her well-being for her team.
