After the Amgen Tour of California concluded Stage 4, thousands of spectators gathered by the finish line in hopes of seeing riders such as Lance Armstrong and Levi Leipheimer.
This stage of the tour ended in Old Town Clovis, Feb. 18. Locals were encouraged to “take the day off,” which motivated many residents to come support the riders of the Amgen-sponsored race.
