Throughout his years at FC, coach Josh Tosland, center, has taken the Lady Eagles to two Valley Championships games and through many perfect league seasons.

Despite losing at Selland Area last year, the girls’ basketball team is optimistic and confident for a return to the finals. With an impressive overall record of 19-5 and 7-0 in the West Sequoia League, the girls and Tosland are determined to return to the semi-finals.

During the Eagle’s game versus Caruthers, Tosland could be heard encouraging junior Chelsea Shuman from the sidelines. With Selland in mind, the Eagles defeated the Blue Raiders, 74-34, Feb. 12.
