Kindergarten students use iPads to help them spell.

Kindergarten teacher Amy Witters introduces iPads to her classroom to teach students that learning can be fun. She uses the iPad to help with the spelling of words and the basic reading skills. Witters calls it iPad learning when they break into their groups to use the iPads.

The introduction of technology came last year when the administration required all high school students to bring a laptop or tablet (BYOD). Lower grades are now starting to integrate devices in to their learning process.

The school uses an app called Schoology to keep kids connected to the classroom and at home. Schoology allows students to turn in homework online, keep up to date with homework, and also allows teachers to post their lectures to schoology for the parents to stay connected with their student and what they are learning.
