[/media-credit] To commence the 9/11 memorial ceremony, a league of community leaders rode through the crowd on horseback.When firefighters and policemen in New York City received calls from Pelco by Schneider Electric, most had never heard of Clovis. Yet, 21 members of NYPD flew to California to attend Pelco’s first Sept. 11 memorial. This first memorial was hosted only a year later, in 2002, and developed a tradition that is still in action today.
