Jeremy Brown shares his five-year plan during Vision Night
Superintendent Jeremy Brown shares his vision for the future of FC, explaining why now is the time to start “Building Tomorrows Today.” He invited FC parents to attend his Vision Night, Sept. 22.
With a new superintendent comes an encouragement to compare progress from where you began, which was 40 years ago. FC students and families represent over 100 various churches from all around town.
With the assistance of these local churches along with our community, Jeremy Brown aims to make this generation a generation of world changers.
“My plan for FC wasn’t a call to action as much as a leading,” Brown said. “I believe that this time is critical, our students are really going to be a world changing generation. My job is to support and equip your generations. I can’t say that I was motivated by one event. I have always been motivated by what I see our students doing.”
Brown’s enthusiasm is rooted in his students. He reports that he truly believes that FC can make a change in the community.

“We have incredible students,” Brown continued. “We have world changers. The FC community can help achieve my plan in various ways. First of all pray. We also need to seek to influence our culture for Christ. God takes care of the details when we take care of his people.”
In order for change to occur on campus, Brown feels that those involved with the school must share his vision and optimism.
“In the next five years, FC should be an influence and a hub of ministry in the local community, with our families that represent over 100 churches in our area,” Brown said. “Within these five years, I want to see our programs multiply and I predict that all these things will happen. The best way to spread the word about my vision for FC is for more people to believe in the vision for our school.”
Phase 1 of Building our ‘Tomorrow’s Today‘ will focus on updating the school’s aesthetic appearance. Brown said the school will get a fresh reflooring and painting. The installation of a new Playground for K-6 is also underway, along with updated furnishings.
“People talk about what they believe in and and they support what they believe in,” Brown said. “Change is currently underway at FC. The walls have been painted for the last three weeks. The carpet is almost done down stairs. As far as programs are concerned, we have expanded our offerings this year and plan to continue to do more next year.”
Phase 2 and 3 of Building Our ‘Tomorrow’s Today’ will consist of the expansion of FC. The FC gym will be renovated with modern classrooms and upgraded athletic facilities. A new elementary facility on campus is also underway.
Yet, Brown’s feet remain fully planted and knows there will be challenges ahead with these projects.
“Where some people saw obstacles, Nehemiah and those with him saw opportunities,” the Superintendent said. “The community came together to build the walls of Jerusalem. In the same way, some see students. But I see world changers. So why now? If not now then when? When will we come together to prepare our world changers? First of all pray. Second, is to seek to influence our culture for Christ. God takes care of the details when we take care of his people.”
Many families and people have prayed and supported FC for decades. Like the walls of Jerusalem, families and the community will step up to rebuild the walls, or the gates, of FC.

It’s great that FC is finally receiving some remodeling. It really cleans up the school’s image and revamps school spirit.
