History teacher Kori Friesen teaches several students about photography and how to work their cameras better, Jan. 29.

Because Friesen also runs her own photography business along with teaching she offered to train the students that are interested in photography and photo journalism. The workshop began during lunch and went until 3:00. The students learned how to better operate their cameras while learning how to adjust to lighting to get the perfect shot. She plans to hold a second course for these students so they can learn even more sometime in the next two weeks.
