After practicing and rehearsing for three days for the annual FC cheer clinic, 40 young girl cheerleaders performed their routine during half-time at the home football game against Caruthers, Nov. 5.
Senior varsity cheer captain Kory Thompson was once one of the elementary girls who participated in this clinic, but is now one of teachers.
“It’s always so much fun to teach little girls what we do at our practices,” Thompson said. “They always have so much fun, even though they always want to learn harder stuff; but we have to make sure it is appropriate for all ages.”
