This was also the first year that elementary band and cheer participated in the parade simultaneously with the high school and junior high band. The Fresno Veterans Parade is touted by organizers as the largest west of the Mississippi River. It was televised locally by KSEE Channel 24.1 and on the Web via ThePentagonChannel.mil.
