Every year during Christmas time, journalism adviser Greg Stobbe participates in the Candy Cane Lane event near Peach and Alluvial. The Stobbe family spends three days setting up Christmas decorations, including lights, snowflakes, snowmen and Christmas trees.
Over 10,000 lights occupy the roofs of homes many homes throughout Candy Cane Lane. Homes are usually lit by 5:45 p.m. for people to see, shutting off by 9:30 p.m.
