As they approach competition, freshman Chloe Duerr and junior Zachary Diaz de la Cuesta meet after school with the Academic Decathlon team to take a math test, Jan. 11.
The team will compete in the subjective sections at California State University, Fresno, on Jan. 29, and in the objective sections at Clovis East High School in the East Gym, Feb. 5.
