During the AP English Language and Composition class, students are given an assignment to discuss a topic of their choice that concerns two novels, Farewell to Manzanar and Hiroshima, Jan. 18.
To decide which group goes on the first day, classmates played games of rock-paper-scissors against each other. Juniors Katelyn Miller, left, and Jeff Roseth compete against each other. Miller won the game, resulting in her group going on the first day.
