This week, art teacher Sharon Scharf, not pictured, assigns the task of print making to her students. Sophomore Ian Rustigian uses a sharp carving tool and a small cutting board to create his own original stamp, Feb. 2.
After each student finishes their stamp, they are taught how to use the “brayer” technique to transfer ink onto their stamp to form a print.
