Dear editor,

I happened across The Feather online and read the May 7 online article (“”Cheer coach leaves legacy of love, laughter””) about Mrs. (Eunie) McEntee retiring. I am one of her cheerleaders from the 80s.

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Mac. She would always stand at the bus to wave goodbye for our away games. She sent us sweet notes on game days and always had time to listen.

Please tell her thank you for all she has done and that she has made a difference in many peoples’ lives.
