Dear editor,
The campus choir and ensemble every year is massively transformed from an inexperienced and often helpless group into a phenomenal sensation that impresses its members, the student body and the audience.
In the May 17 online article, “Choir director takes final bow,” by Taylor Warner, she correctly honors the long-time choral director, Marc Ferguson.
Mr. Ferguson is a special director that only comes around once in a lifetime, if a school is lucky. Yet this campus has been fortunate to enjoy his skill and presence for 15 years.
As a member of campus choirs for five years, I have seen the blessings God has given our school through Mr. Ferguson. His love for choral music and the Lord is obvious and I was honored to be a part of that.
I know Mr. Ferguson will be missed and I wish him God’s blessing in whatever he does next.
