Dear editor,

Mr. (Lonnie) Godfrey is one of the best teachers I know and have ever had. And, as after he recently announced his retirement from Fresno Christian after 15 years, I wanted to say he has taught me more than just math.

He pushed me and challenged me in academics as well as my spiritual life. I learned so much from his daily devotions. I will never forget him.

His class was my favorite during my four years of high school. He has been a big influence on my life.

I could never thank him enough for all that he has done for me. I will miss him next year.
