The Internet is far too often dragged down too a lower and lower reputation than it deserves.

The online article, “Internet undermines learning,” by Klairese Crough on May 12, places the Internet as being no more than a barrier between students and their schoolwork.

The truth is the Internet has many extremely valuable tools for learning. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been on Spark Notes, but I know I would not survive easily without it.

The Internet has no limits. When you feel like playing a game, you can play one. When you feel like listening to music, you can listen to it.

When you feel like chatting with friends, you can talk to them. When you feel like studying, you can study. All of the above can be done on the Internet.

For me, the Internet is where I take a break from school and can relax while playing games and listening to music. The Internet is not a bad place; you just have to know how to use it.
